Do you install over-the-range and built-in microwaves?

Yes. Our own techs mount over-the-range units, connect them to your vent (ducted outside or recirculating), and wire them in so they work as a microwave and a range hood. Built-in and drawer models we fit into the cabinetry or trim kit. Countertop microwaves just plug in — no install needed.

Is it worth repairing a microwave?

Usually not for a countertop model — a new one typically costs less than the repair. But a built-in or over-the-range unit framed into custom cabinetry can be worth fixing, since replacing it is more involved. Tell us the model and how it's installed and we'll give you an honest answer.

What's the difference between a ducted and recirculating over-the-range microwave?

A ducted OTR vents cooking air outside; a recirculating one filters it and returns it to the kitchen. Which you can use depends on whether your kitchen already has a vent path to the outside — we'll check before you buy so you get the right unit.

What size and wattage should I get?

It depends on the space and how you cook — over-the-range units are typically 30" wide to match the range, and higher wattage heats faster. We'll help you match size and power to your kitchen and habits.

What financing is available?

Do you service microwaves you didn't sell?

For built-in and over-the-range units, often yes. For countertop models, a repair usually costs more than a replacement, so we'll tell you honestly if you're better off replacing it. Warranty repairs we only do on units we sold, since working under someone else's warranty can void it.
