Dryer Repair Services

Your laundry room is now covered by Landers Appliance. There is no doubt that dryers are an extremely valuable and time-saving home appliance. Most homeowners are incredibly dependent on their dryer machine working effectively and efficiently. As a result, when a problem occurs, it can be really frustrating. Even if the dryer isn’t totally broken, homeowners can still struggle to get their clothes completely dry — which can lead to a myriad of issues. If your dryer isn’t working properly, you could even end up spending more money just by running it without reaping the full benefits of a properly functioning machine.

Gas & Electric Dryer Repair

When it comes to dryers, there are two different types: gas and electric. Electric dryers will typically cost a bit less than gas dryers upfront and tend to be less expensive to install as well. Gas dryers are those that operate on natural gas or propane. That means they tend to cost a little more than electric dryers up-front but can end up saving homeowners more money over time. Dryers that use moisture sensors are the most energy efficient — saving you a significant chunk of change on your energy bills.

How Dryers Work

Dryers typically have a rotating drum called a tumbler. It’s this tumbler that actually tumbles the clothes while the blower fan circulates the heated air which evaporates moisture in the clothes. The humid air that’s produced will then push directly through the venting system and makes room for the dry air to completely enhance the actual drying process.
