Great expedient service! After failing to get a service appointment (or even a live person) from the preferred service provider through the manufacturer i decided to go with a local company. They answered the phone, scheduled us immediately and were transparent about the service charge. It was more than fair and less than half of what the other service provider was charging. Our dryer was promptly fixed after ordering the parts we needed. Would be happy to use them again! Highly recommend!

Our experience with Landers was great. They were able to send us a technician a day before we were scheduled. Appliance repair, of course, is always on that knife edge where it’s oftentimes cheaper to simply buy a new one. Our tech was forthright about the costs of repair versus replacement, and his diagnosis of what was wrong turned out to be completely accurate. On the strength of his professional opinion, we busted out the tools later that day and dissected our dishwasher. As he had warned us, Samsung tries extremely hard to hide their drain pumps. It’s early days yet, but the pump surgery appears to have been successful (olive pit in the drain pump). The diagnostic fee everywhere is steep these days, but not everyone gets the diagnosis right. So, credit to Landers that our dishwasher lives to fight another day.

We had Landers’ repairmen come out because our old microwave quit heating. They replaced a switch and the microwave worked and the repairmen left. But unfortunately about an hour later, the microwave stopped working again. So I had the repairmen come back the next day. I was not charged for the return visit. The repairmen determined that a fix would require taking the microwave into the shop for repair. At that point, I decided to buy a new microwave. Baiba Wheeler called me and offered a new GE microwave for sale. Landers would install the new one and take away the broken microwave. The GE microwave has a timer feature that my wife wants and the microwave is the same size and color as the old one. The repairmen came back and installed the GE microwave and took away our old one in about a half hour. I am very pleased with the service and sale from Landers Appliance. Thank you.

Our 11-year-old Bosch dishwasher developed a leak. I checked social media for appliance repair recommendations and decided to try Landers because they had favorable comments from many people. Landers (repair tech John) repaired our dishwasher leak in just 2 short (10-20 minute) visits – one to diagnose the problem and one to repair the problem with a new part. I thought Landers was a bit pricey, BUT in all fairness, I haven’t had an appliance repaired in many years, and the charges for both the initial diagnostic visit and the repair visit (including the cost of the part) were quoted to me in advance, and I had ample opportunity to decline if I didn’t want to spend the money. AND, there were no surprises – the prices I was quoted were the prices I was charged! Landers excelled in their communications to me, both the office (scheduling appointments and advising when they were actually in route) and John the repair tech (what was the problem, and what would be the solution, including the cost). Total time from initial contact to repair was 4 business days, stretched out a bit by a weekend, but still less than a week. Bottom line: I’d rate Landers 5-stars, I’d recommend them, and I’d use them again!

The tech was here within an hour. He tested the appliance (gas dryer) to ensure we did not have an actual gas leak. He determined a connection inside the dryer was likely worn and could be causing the issue (gas smell in dryer after clothes finish) but that it would be a $400+ job, and he noticed the dryer was 13 years old and frankly advised that since this is not an immediately dangerous situation, our $$$ would be better spent on a new unit. I appreciated his honesty!!

My 12-year-old GE Profile microwave broke on a Friday at 4:00 pm. I immediately called Landers and talked to Julian. I told him my mother is receiving hospice care at home and the reasons I needed a working microwave. He was very sympathetic. By Sunday, Julian had emailed me detailed information on a replacement microwave. I paid for it electronically and he processed the order. By Thursday, the microwave had arrived at the store. Shawn called me and scheduled installation the following day, even though service appointments were heavily booked. It’s an under-cabinet microwave, and the template for drilling holes to bolt it to the cabinet was WRONG. It took two very patient Landers service guys TWO hours to install. I was a Nervous Nelly and not very polite. For this I apologize. I don’t even remember their names. I am grateful to Landers and its employees for their sympathy, dedication to customer service and professionalism!

Old School Craftsmanship, Top-Tier Service: Had an awesome experience with Landers Appliance and especially Rob, the tech who came out. This guy is the real deal—multimeter in hand, diagnosing the issue the right way, not just guessing and swapping parts like so many others do. When something wasn’t adding up, he didn’t hesitate—called GE’s appliance support directly and had them walk him through which pins and voltages to test. Textbook troubleshooting. Rob and I joked about the “parts cannon” techs we’ve both known from our auto mechanic days—guys who couldn’t diagnose a dead battery with the lights off. That’s not Rob. He’s methodical, sharp, and genuinely cares about doing the job right the first time. This was old-school, professional appliance repair at its best. No fluff, no BS—just expertise and results. Only one place I’ll be calling from now on: Landers. And if I can request a tech? Rob every time.

Our GE washing machine suddenly stopped draining and spinning. I called Landers based on the Google reviews, and they did not disappoint. Sean diagnosed the problem, and swiftly returned with the replacement part (it had to be ordered) that fixed our washing machine. I also had great response when I called them. On a side note, and unrelated to Landers’ superb performance, I will never buy GE appliances again! This is an expensive washer (model GFW850SPN4RS) and matching GE dryer that has never worked as well as our previous 20-year old Kenmore appliances. The washing machine has so many options that it we had to put the manual on top of the washer so we can refer to it whenever the machine beeps or the lights blink. The dryer also has many settings. Unfortunately, only one of them completely dries a full load of clothes, and that’s the simple, manual setting of ‘Timed Dry’, full heat and 90 minutes. We spent way too much money on “features” that we never use. Bottom line: Appliance problems -> call Landers! Purchase decisions -> avoid GE!

I called Landers to fix my less than 20 year old stove. The technician came and diagnosed the problem, but unfortunately Whirlpool no longer makes the part, so I had to buy a new stove. I did that with Landers as well, and it was so easy! In less than an hour I had chosen and bought a new stove, and I never left my house. I couldn’t imagine the time and effort it would have taken to go to a big box store, and I’m sure I would have paid more. I had to reschedule installation, as I needed to have an outlet put in, but Bobby talked me through exactly what I needed to have the electrician do. Installation was a breeze. When it was a costly part, he was honest with me about whether it was worth replacing, which I greatly appreciated. We purchased the part, they received it quickly and called me ahead of time to schedule the repair, which Billy expertly handled. Platinum service from the first phone call. Speaking with a human who asked to determine what service I was calling about then explaining basic costs, potential that part might not be on the truck (it was) and scheduling me. The technician called 10 minutes in advance, arrived and was both professional and cordial. Lander’s was able to repair the Samsung dryer, provided a three month guarantee on that item, and cleaned up as no one has been there. The repair costs was reasonable and clearly explained and documented. The repair cost certainly beat purchasing a new dryer even at the most basic level. There is NO AI with Lander’s, real people all the time. I recommend without reservations given my age and long experience over the years with appliances, their quirks, and problems.

We have an 18 yo ge monogram Hubby left the freezer door ajar overnight… In the am … both temps were way off… We were told to empty fridge, turn off breaker for 48 hours with both doors open… We don’t know if it will fix the issue… time will tell Brandon was friendly and professional Update: Well I have to say I was skeptical… but hopeful that keeping the refrig off for two days would fix the issue… After two days of my kitchen being a mess and running up and down the stairs to the basement fridge… I got up this morning to 0 and 34!!! I did a happy dance in my messy kitchen The other good news was the fridge now is almost as clean as when we bought it Thanks again!

Repair person was good but as soon as he saw the dishwasher is a GE he asked if anyone had told me about the door problem with GE dishwashers when I scheduled the repair. I might have saved myself $169 if I had been told the leak was likely from a bent door and I should just buy a new dishwasher. The scheduler should have known this.

Like most people our interactions with Landers are few and far between. We had a great experience 12-13 years ago at The Maytag Store in Timonium (we prefer to shop with independent businesses whenever possible) buying a new washing machine. In between then and now we’ve had Landers out for various repairs and we’ve gotten great service (and advice) from Dino and the other techs. Just last year the motherboard died on our perfectly good ~20 year old oven. I called Landers and they spent time with me trying to track down a replacement motherboard. And most recently that washing machine needed replacing and we bought a new one from Landers, whose prices are competitive with the big box stores.

Steve came right on time and quickly diagnosed the issue: 3 wires which had been cut by the machine over time. He gave us 3 options: repair wires, replace wiring and connecting parts, or what Samsung forces you to buy: the whole module and harness. He repaired the wires very quickly and made sure to test it under multiple scenarios. Helped give advice and let us know of the 90 day warranty. Landers is very trustworthy and capable in a day where most companies take weeks to show up and try to use fear tactics. We will always recommend Landers. Thanks Steve for the great work.

Called on a Monday morning. My 7 year old dryer died on Sunday. Got an appointment for Tuesday morning. I made sure to give the the model and serial number. Tech got here at 11:45, finished the repair by 12:30. $420.00 to replace a wheel that moves the belt. That included the $150 trip charge. Since it is a samsung, he told me the parts are more expensive. I can’t say that is true or not. But either way, it was less than half of the cost to replace it.

Anthony repaired my Samsung gas stove in no time at all. From the initial call to closing the ticket Landers customer service was great, they worked with my schedule, Anthony called ahead and was on time, he explained was was wrong, and stayed to make sure it was working as expected. I will call them again for any appliance service I need.

Our serviceman arrived on time and was able to rescue an appliance which fits perfectly n its current space. We were extremely concerned that because of its age it might need to be replaced and is no longer available in that size. Now it is back in perfect working order.
