My 20 year old Kitchen Aid side by side stopping cooling the fridge while the freezer portion was beyond frozen. Called Landers , was happy that my account history opened immediately so we could quickly review the maintenance history of this fridge. How many companies have instantaneous ability to cut right to your specific details ? Impressive. It was also impressive that my Landers contact had enough knowledge to know how to move this problem forward. As agreed, Senior Technician Sean arrived today , right after a quick confirmation phone call. Within an hour he determined the problem , cleaned out the trouble spot and got the fridge temp rising again. I now understand the issue and will make sure this doesn’t happen again. I appreciate Sean’s fix and explanation.
On another note, since the machine is 20 years old, I thought we should look to purchase a new one. A Dacron looked good but I called Landers Service to make sure they could service this manufacturer. Apparently Landers makes a point of sending their technicians to classes to learn how to service machines. That also impressed me ! Thank you, Landers Appliance !
