Appliance Satisfaction Survey Ranks Whirlpool Highest for Appliance Brands Sold in USA

According to the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) 2012 edition, the Whirlpool Corporation came in first place for the major appliance industry, achieving an overall score of 83 (out of 100). Whirlpool has either had or tied for the highest ratings every year for the last 17 years (since 1996)! Electrolux came in second with a score of 82, and GE had an 80. LG, Samsung, Bosch and other smaller brands had a combined score of 79 (it was noted that import fees, which are on the rise may be the cause for the lower score on these brands).
