The track and the turntable plate must sit correctly for the plate to rotate. Check to see if everything is in the right position, and briefly run the microwave to see if it is spinning correctly again.
Something’s Obstructing the Turntable
You might discover in your inspection that something is obstructing the turntable. Is there a large crumb, packaging, or anything else that could obstruct the turntable from turning? Remove obstructions and clean your microwave oven thoroughly so that it is spotless and smooth. This solution is an easy fix!
The Turntable Rotation Is Off
Does your microwave oven have the option to turn off the turntable’s rotation? Some microwaves have this feature to make it possible to warm up or cook larger dishes that cannot make a full rotation within the oven.
