This picture is actually a replica of All Star hockey player Sidney Crosby’s dryer when he was a kid. He tells the story of having a rather wide open basement where he and his friends constructed a hockey rink. The layout of the room required the goal net be placed directly next to the family dryer. Uh Oh! Every now and then when he and his friends would miss the goal the dryer took the hit! Mrs. Crosby said she used to stamp her foot on the floor of the kitchen every time she heard the load thudding noise of puck meeting dryer in order to let Sydney know she was listening. She told her son that as long as the dryer continued to perform he could continue to perfect his shooting skills :>)
